Successful Shopping 10/15/10

Yesterday was my first major shopping trip of the week.  I just couldn't find the time to get away.  I finally decided yesterday that I was going no matter what.  I visited CVS, RiteAid (2 stores), Publix (2 stores), Walgreens, and Kroger.  Now, I know you are thinking, "That is a lot of stores!"  I didn't want to wipe out the stores' supply on the shelf, and I really didn't have to drive out of my way for any of these stores.  Here is the rundown of what we bought:

12 Green Giant Steamers 12 oz
4 Eggo waffles 10 ct
2 New York Texas Toast 8 ct
11 Pillsbury cinnamon rolls 8 ct
2 Coffee Mates French Vanilla 16 oz
4 Kroger sandwich meats 2.5 oz (I needed to purchase a meat to use a $2.50 off coupon for Kingsford charcoal.  This was my meat... all 69 cents a pack worth.)
8 Hillshire Farm sausages 6 ct.
6 Hillshire Farm sausage links
4 Kingsford Match Light 6.7 lb
3 Dial soap 8ct (These are for our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.)
10 Kraft barbeque sauce 18 oz.
1 Huggies diapers 27 ct.
1 Huggies diapers 87 ct.
2 Huggies PullUps 23 ct
8 Right Guard Total Defense 5 deodorants
3 Gillette Fusion shaving gels 7 oz.
2 Gillette Fusion shaving gels 2.5 oz.
8 VitaminWaters 20 oz.
1 Oral B Vitality rechargeable toothbrush
4 Colgate Total toothpaste 4 oz. (More free toothpaste for the OCC shoeboxes)
7 Ace cold compress 1 ct.
4 Mini Chips Ahoy 3 oz. (One is missing from pic b/c I needed a snack on the way home.)
2 Oreo Fudge Cremes 4 ct. (One is missing from pic b/c Laura needed a snack on the way home.)
2 Nivea for Men body wash 16.9 oz.
2 Softsoap body wash 18  oz.
3 Glad OdorShield trash bags 40 ct.
1 Brachs candy corn 7.5 oz.
7 Snickers candy bars Fun Size pack 11.18 oz.
2 Starburst Fun Size pack 11.18 oz.
7 M&Ms Fun Size pack 9.45 oz.
7 M&Ms Peanut Fun Size pack 9.34 oz.
6 GladWare containers 3-5 ct.
4 Playtex tampons 18 ct.

A total of 150 items!  I paid out of pocket $134.95 and saved $394.99!!!  I still have $15 in store rewards that I can spend at a later time.  The average cost for per item is $0.90.  Whoot!! Whoot!!  Now for the pic of my purchases.
